Mariam is a recent graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law.
Prior to attending law school, Mariam earned her double Bachelor’s degrees in English and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of California, Riverside. In college, she worked as a congressional intern on Capitol Hill and later completed a fellowship with Karamah: Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights, in Washington, D.C.
In law school, she clerked for the Honorable Jill L. Burkhardt and served as an executive board member for the San Diego Law Review. She served as a teaching assistant for several professors and was the Vice President of the Middle Eastern Law Student Association. She also volunteered her time to be a co-author for a nonprofit organization in writing an amicus brief that was submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.
She is passionate about helping our clients and finds joy in tackling complicated legal issues. Outside of the office, Mariam enjoys yoga, seeing her friends and family, and discovering interesting podcasts.
