Ashley, born in Wilmington, Delaware, grew up as a Southern Californian in the beautiful suburban “bubble” of Thousand Oaks, California.
Eager to start the next chapter in her life, Ashley forwent her senior year of high school and attended the University of Southern California, with a Dean’s Scholarship, at the early age of 17. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, with two minors in Psychology & Law and Business Law, respectively, all while enjoying her undergraduate years at football games and film screenings.
After graduating from USC, Ashley immediately began her law school journey at the University of San Diego School of Law, as a Merit Scholarship recipient. Now in her third and final year of law school, Ashley spends her time pursuing a concentration in Intellectual Property Law, giving back to her peers as President of the Intellectual Property Law Association, and working as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Climate and Energy Law. She hopes to use her background in chemistry and her passion for intellectual property to help zealous entrepreneurs at DuFord Law protect their ideas and creations.
FunFact: In her free time, Ashley is often times reveling in a good book, editing a fresh screenplay, or off exploring new places and cultures. She also loves music, all types of food, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
